The Internet Computer

In this talk we will look at a niche for a platform that offers decentralized hosting of data and business logic, and what that platform might look like. We will then explore the design decisions that have been made by the DFINITY team to deliver a platform that fits this niche. On the way, we will look at the stratification of blockchain platforms into layers, and emerging solutions to the problems found at these layers. Rapid finality, infinite scaling, and blockchain governance will be the technical focus.
